In Journey’s Edge Lisa explores her personal journey over two decades.

The current series of art work has evolved from the artist’s personal journey spanning well over two decades. It is a gathering of self discovery, through a journey of layering connecting, past, present and future.

Lisa is of Torres Strait Islander and Gunditjmara decent. Lisa uses different art forms and mixed media to depict who she is and her journey of experiences as a member of the Stolen Generations and wife to an Indigenous Papua New Guinean tribal leader, with his rich culture.
