WALKING COUNTRY

This walk is designed specifically for individuals and small groups no larger than 10.

Step beyond the city streets and discover Narrm (Melbourne) through a different lens.

Open to individuals and small groups of up to 10 participants, join a First Peoples Aboriginal guide for a unique immersive experience beginning at Fed Square and stopping at the Birrarung Wilam (River Camp) Aboriginal art installation, which features a stylised eel pathway, towering message stick sculptures, etched-metal panels resembling possum-skin cloaks, large stylised metal shields and spears, and a pair of large ornamental metal water vessels. The walk culminates at a semi-circular group of carved ancestor stones amongst which the recent Treaty between the state government and the Traditional Custodians of Victoria was signed.

This engaging walk reveals the historical and contemporary layers of Country that exist beneath the modern city, offering visitors a meaningful and memorable way to experience Narrm.

Groups larger than 10, or private tours are welcome to enquire and book through our groups link HERE.
