Entries are now open for Koorie Art Show 14

Are you an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artist living in Victoria? We’d love you to be part of one of Victoria’s most celebrated exhibitions of First Peoples art.

The Koorie Art Show is a vibrant annual exhibition that brings together artists from across the state to share stories, celebrate culture and showcase the remarkable breadth of contemporary First Peoples artistic practice in Victoria. Whether you are an emerging artist exhibiting for the first time or an established practitioner, the Koorie Art Show is an opportunity to share your work with thousands of visitors and be part of a proud and enduring celebration of Victorian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creativity.

This is an open-entry, non-acquisitive award exhibition, with all eligible artworks considered for a range of major awards.

How to Enter

Complete your online entry form or download the entry form.

If you would prefer a paper copy, simply EMAIL or telephone us and we’ll happily send one to you by email or post. You can also visit the KHT during our regular opening hours (10.00am-5.00pm) and collect an entry form from one of our friendly Front of House team at either the Wominjeka Desk on Level 1 or Reception Desk on Level 2.

You can submit one artwork created in the last 18 months.

Entries close: Midnight, Monday 28 September 2026.

Artwork Delivery

Your entry must be delivered to:

Fed Square, Melbourne

Delivery dates:

Artworks can be delivered anytime between Monday 2 November – Friday 13 November 2026, between 10:00am–4:00pm unless alternative arrangements have been made with our Curatorial Team.

Exhibition Dates

The Koorie Art Show 14 will be on display at KHT from Saturday 5 December 2026 until Sunday 11 July 2027.

Young Mob 9

We are also inviting entries for the Koorie Art Show Young Mob 9, showcasing the creativity of Victorian First Peoples young mob aged 5–16 years. The Young Mob 9 exhibition will be displayed alongside the open-entry Koorie Art Show 14. Find out more about Young Mob 9 HERE.
