Celebrate NAIDOC Week’s Fifty Years of Deadly by supporting First Peoples artists, discovering exceptional contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art and design, and sharing in a day that celebrates culture, creativity and community.
Join the Koorie Heritage Trust as more than 20 First Peoples artists, designers and makers come together for our annual KHT NAIDOC Week First Peoples Art and Design Market. Discover an extraordinary range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, jewellery, fashion, textiles, homewares, prints, gifts and handcrafted works while meeting the artists behind the creations. Whether you’re looking for a unique piece to treasure, a meaningful gift, or simply want to support First Peoples creatives, this vibrant market offers something for everyone.
Held in the heart of Fed Square, the market forms part of a full day of community celebration. It coincides with the annual NAIDOC March and the City of Melbourne’s NAIDOC in the City free concert at Fed Square featuring a powerhouse lineup headlined by ARIA-winning Australian icon Christine Anu, along with performances from Zipporah Corser-Anu, Crooked TP & Brothers In Arms, Dungala Baimi, Bumpy, Benny Walker, Leonie Whyman and Traditional Aboriginal Dance Group Yuloo.
The KHT NAIDOC Week First Peoples Art and Design Market is a valued partnership with SBS/NITV Australia and Fed Square, and is supported by Aboriginal Melbourne and the City of Melbourne.
