As you might know, young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists aged between 5 and 16 and living in Victoria are warmly invited to submit their artworks for the 7th Koorie Art Show Young Mob . If you haven’t created an artwork, you are not too late! Join us for an open studio free making session on Saturday 14 September. We’ll provide materials, advice, space and inspiration – and once you finish your work, you can complete an entry form and leave your artwork here, ready for exhibition!
This session will be facilitated by our Curatorial Manager, Gail Harradine – who is a Wotjobaluk artist, curator and teacher.
There are awards to be issued for Young Mob artworks – so make sure you are in the running.
We acknowledge the generous support of our public programming partners: Viva Energy Australia, Krystyna Campbell-Pretty and Family, and The Orloff Family Charitable Trust.
The Koorie Art Show is proudly supported by Creative Victoria, City of Melbourne, Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support Program, the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body, and ANZ Bank.
