CALLING FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Applications Close: Sunday 10 November 2024, 5pm.

How it works

Through an EOI followed by an informal interview process, up to 10 participants will be selected to take part in a series of intensive fashion and textile workshops, as well as skills and professional development sessions.

As part of the program, you will have access to cultural mentors, design professionals, fashion and industry practitioners and experts as well as access to design studios for the component of the program.

At the completion of the program, participants will be expected to have designed and created individual pieces with the intention of being showcased in an end of year showcase. As part of the professional development opportunity, participants will also work closely with the KHT curatorial team in the showcase development and design.

The Program will be delivered at the Koorie Heritage Trust in the Yarra Building at Melbourne’s iconic Fed Square, and in the RMIT University’s renowned School of Fashion and Textiles.
