Kids’ Culture Day of Painting with Uncle Col Clark

Kids and families, join us for a very special pair of sessions with revered Barkindji and Ngiyampaa Elder, Uncle Colin (Col) Clark. Uncle Col currently has his first solo exhibition at KHT, Connections to Home. Take the opportunity to yarn, learn and paint with an artist who loves to share.

Uncle Col will take kids on a tour of his exhibition, talk about culture and Country and lead everyone on a painting exploration.

  • All materials supplied.
  • Light catering provided.
  • Free but bookings required.
  • This is a workshop designed for kids.
  • Kids need to come with an adult supervisor to stay with them and assist.
  • People are welcome to attend both days.

“I am now focused on teaching and learning alongside the younger generation. They are the future. I’ve worked with men for a number of years now, but if we are going to make a change it has got to start with our kids, teach them about culture, identity, connection, community and self determination. That’s where I need to be.”
Uncle Col (Marra) Clark, 2025

We gratefully acknowledge the generous support of our public programming partners: Krystyna Campbell-Pretty and Family; and the Orloff Family Foundation.
