Retail Manager – shopKHT

Are you an experienced retail manager looking to work in a dynamic cultural and creative space?

The Koorie Heritage Trust is looking for a Full Time Retail Manager to manage shopKHT at Fed Square.

shopKHT is our dedicated retail shop showcasing the vibrancy and diversity of First Peoples art and design. The majority of our products are designed and/or crafted by Koorie artists and makers from South-East Australia, as well as by members of the broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities who call this region home.

More than just a shop, shopKHT is a vital part of the KHT visitor experience—offering an opportunity to engage with the rich cultural knowledge, creativity, and identity of South-East Australian Aboriginal Peoples through art, craft, and design.

Through shopKHT, we help build stronger outcomes for our communities by supporting and promoting Indigenous artists, contributing directly to their economic empowerment. Our retail model ensures that financial returns flow to artists and their communities, while also supporting the sustainability of the Koorie Heritage Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant organisation that is deeply committed to truth-telling, cultural revitalisation, and the celebration of First Peoples’ stories through the visual arts.

First Peoples are strongly encouraged to apply.
